How do I get mentioned and linked to from other websites?

When i started writing i always wondered what other people had to say on that same or similar topic and so i surfed and googled other blogs from the same niche. Those don't have to be the very best of the best, but blogs and sites with interesting content and preferably with some readers and followers.

In one of those other blog i have read that the author was willing to share content in terms, you link to his articles he will link to yours. It sounded interesting so i googled that. A bunch of articles and advises came up and again it was reading time. There were a lot of similar authors who were willing to exchange links with content, and also there were others that suggested an alternative approach for guest writing and promotion.

The most often mentioned way of being mentioned on other sites was this: post a lot of good comments in other peoples blogs and paste your own link with it. Most good blogs and sites will have a place for pasting your own link predefined so try to find those. That way if you have something nice and smart to say the author will certainly read your pages and return the favor. Of course, he doesn't have to but i think that is a good thing because then you will have a genuine situation and know what people are really interested in.

Common Pitfalls

When i say write comments, i don't mean comments that contain just one line like "Great article", "Great advice", or something similar. I mean in depth comments that will make someone stop and pay attention to you.

What is the best way to start a blog?

I personally don't think there is such a thing as a best way to start anything.

There are better reasons, there are better topics, better tools etc. but there is no best way in general.

So if you WANT to start a blog you should ask yourself few things:
1. Why do you want to start a blog?
2. What do you want to write about?
3. How skilled are you with online editing tools?
4. How much time per day/week/month are you willing to dedicate to blog writing?
5. What do you expect to gain or achieve?

Based upon your answered you can then determine your starting point and your goal. The maybe tricky part would be t determine the path in between, but hey that path is really flexible and can be adjusted along the way.
So if you start on a free platform that doesn't require a lot of editing knowledge and is really user friendly, and decide along the way you want to switch, that is totally ok and doable in short amount of time. If you decide you want to switch topics that is doable too you just have to adapt, or create a new page and see how it goes.

The one thing though you have to be prepared to invest some time in setting all that up. It is not a once in few months work, it is not even once per month. If you want it to really be successful it has to be daily, or at least few times per week. And if you want to take it a bit further, you should definitely analyse the data that you get from your traffic analyzer and put that towards improvement.

Common Pitfalls

Don't get discouraged with all those additional things like promotion, seo, traffic that can make your blog so much more successful. Yes, you should read about all those related topics but it is not something that should prevent you from starting and upgrading bit by bit.

Crypto currency 101

There is a wide range of crypto these days but the Bitcoin is by far the most often used one. But the idea behind any crypto like it is case with Bitcoin is to eliminate paper money and transfer all monetary transactions online. It is a big new system that is based on block chain technology.

There are several ways to obtain cryptocurrency:

1. Mine it - that means you will put your computer to work and gather information and do some calculations in the background and in return you will be acquiring currency. That is how you become a part of that block chain that fuels the entire project.

2. Faucet claiming - there are many faucets that offer a drop or to of profit for all its users. So behind those sites are computers that are in a block chain, and the owners are letting you benefit a little drop in exchange of you visiting their page that is usually also fueled with adds and promotions. So it's something similar to payed to click system.

3. You can buy crypto from your own local currency and thus transfer your money to a digital sphere. This is maybe the easiest way but there is a catch. Crypto currency is a fluctuating thing, so the value is determined by a stock-market value so your funds can also fluctuate.

4. There are several sites that allow you to earn in crypto, and by far this is the most time consuming way to obtain them because usually you have to do a lot of work before you can actually see some real amounts.

eWalets are just digital wallets in which you have different compartments, one for every crypto available. When you acquire crypto you can transfer it to your wallet with a special keys and codes and use it further. Wallets have high level of protection and usually require identification on user side in terms of an ID or even sometimes a credit card. For those purposes it is usually better to use an internet safe card so that you have another level of protection.

As for spending well it is same as spending real money. You just select the option for crypto in methods of payment and provide your wallet address. In addition, you can also convert crypto from one to another and try maybe to make profit on the stock exchange, usually every wallet service has a trade part included.

Do I need a website for reselling?

In my personal opinion, a website is not a must have. Yes it has its benefits but also demands more work in terms of promoting the website and not just the products you are selling.

But a website is certainly something to grow towards to.

I would start with simple free adds. While they are spinning and attracting some potential costumers and already creating even minimal traffic, use the time to concentrate on the next step, which are the social networks.

Social networks are always present and you certainly have access to one or more of them. You can create a product page on Facebook, for example, and then when you post a new free add just attach the link to it.

The next step would be a blog. You can create it for free and post all your links and product reviews there and with ads just redirect all the traffic to it.

The last step, with your business developing and growing, would be a website. And by that time you will have a clear concept and idea in your head about what it should look like and how it would benefit you. Just to create a website page to have something and not to think it through is just premature eagerness.

To summarize, think it through, and don't make something just to have it, but make a good plan and stick to it. A Website without a good structure and idea will demand more work with fewer results.

Best ways to boost your traffic

To successfully get quality traffic to your website, blog or any other page, you need to get familiar with all that is out there and what is best for you.

First things firs, there are three types of traffic: cold, warm and hot.

Here is their meaning in short, just to get the idea about what you are working with. These are not the official definitions, but my understanding of them:

  1. cold traffic - those are all the people out there that basically don't know you or your business exist.
  2. warm traffic - people who you already approached or made a first contact, or have a rather general idea on what is it you are offering.
  3. hot traffic - when people know and recognize you and your business, take interest by themselves even and recommend you further, that is hot traffic.

So, the warmer the traffic the better results you are going to get. The most common hot traffic of course is to start promoting to your family and friends. They already know you and is easier to talk to them and introduce new things. Through them you can generate a substantial warm traffic (ex. friends of my friends friend). So for someone who is just starting i think that this would be the best way to start. You can get a good feedback from all those people, fine tune what ever needs your attention, and continue from there.

The hardest step, from my point of view, would be to continue widening your audience, because than you have to start with completely cold traffic, and warm it up step by step. You have to be patient with new people, give them information piece by piece, unless they ask for more on their own. People that don't know you can easily get scared, because lat's be honest, there are a lot of scams out there.

Knowing all this, not as few months ago, I started exploring all kinds of different "boost your traffic" options for my small blog. And to be clear, i am talking now only about starting from the cold traffic, and there are several sources that you can easily use.

The most obvious choice is the social media - Facebook, Tweeter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest... You can post to any or every and make it simple and easily appealing to anyone out there. The trick is to make them stick with what you are offering. So my advice would be to create a page or blog post where there are some explanations or information on what you are promoting, or something that will keep people on your page a bit longer than 10 seconds. It will not happen overnight, you have to be patient.

Another option is to write comments and articles on other peoples blogs or forums. It sounds strange, but it is rather effective. That way you are already reaching masses that are there to read something and will look for more content. But choose well rated sites, those that you yourself would read or are similar topic to yours.

There is also an option to use third sites that offer traffic exchange. So far i tried two different free types: automated and click to verify.

Automated ones are easiest to use. You just spin your address in their system and let it roll in the background, collecting hits from all over the world. It is easy to use, it can run all night if your computer doesn't go to sleep and it does boost your traffic a lot. The one downfall is that also people who surf on the other end and visit your page, you guessed it, don't really see it or read it. So you are basically boosting your numbers and not the number of potential readers.

Click to verify traffic exchange is a bit better in that area, because it requires a physical confirmation (usually to solve a small puzzle and click the answer) that a certain page has been visited. That way you know that people at least looked at your page and maybe read something. On the downside, from my experience the maximum of pages i have managed to confirm in one day has been around a 100 so that will boost traffic a bit but with more quality views. This is a good option to use simultaneously when you are already doing something on the internet.

As a final suggestion from me, there are all these different options:

  • you can use sites that host posts and answer questions (like Quora),
  • you can use so called click sites (Clickworkers, Rapidworkers...) to basically pay a cent or two for people to visit your page,
  • you can go through an influencer (a person that has a lot of followers and has influence to promote your business),
  • you can even use payed adds and advanced marketing strategies...
But my advice is to leave payed stuff for much later, when you have used up most of your other options. Paying money for an add will guaranty the prime placement and that more people will see the add, but there is no guaranty on how many people will actually go from cold to warm or hot traffic.

What ever you choose, this is summing it up in short: Some traffic is better than no traffic, but if you can choose always go for quality over quantity and be persistent and patient.

Affiliate marketing - work your way up the marketing ladder

When you are new to affiliating there is always a million and one question on how to do it, where to do it, how to promote, when is the right time for investment, do i need a website, and so on. I personally don't have enormous experience behind me yet, but the things i go through in my path are a good basis to help someone who, like me, is on the beginning of the marketing journey. So these are my experiences and recommendations on how to get started without a headache.

1. I would start with simple free adds. There are a lot of sites that you can use for posting absolutely free adds of products. While they are spinning and attracting some potential costumers already creating some traffic, use the time to concentrate on the next step, which in my opinion are the social networks.

2. Social networks are always present and you certainly have access to one or more of them (Facebook, Tweeter, Instagram, Quora, LinkedIn, etc. ). You can create products page on Facebook for example, and then when you post a new free add just attache the link to it. You can promote your free adds to any of these networks and widen the search span.

3. With free adds still going (don't forget to renew them or post more of them), and social networks buzzing, you can start thinking about a free blog. You can create it in a matter of ours. I mean the looks, the structure, the idea... The content you have to think about a little because there are many different approaches and it all depends on your affinities. When you create your first posts, so not just one article but several, you can start redirecting all that startup traffic from previous two steps to it. Just add links and product reviews inside articles, post some banners and you are good to go. Also, all the future free adds and social network posts have to include your blog link so that you boost everything.

4. The last step, with business well developing and growing would be a website. And by that time you will have a clear concept and idea in your head about what it should look like and how would it benefit you. Just to create a website page to have something and not to think it through is just a premature eagerness. Website is not easy to maintain, has to reflect a certain business level and status that you represent, and my advice is not to get hasty with creating one. When you start thinking about a serious website, take a step back and reassess all three previous steps and think about doing them all over again but in payed version. So payed adds, payed social network space and promotions, paid traffic to a blog.

So to summarize, think it through and don't make something just to have it, but make a good plan and stick to it. It is easier to adjust a good plan than to correct a bad one.

SFI - all perks and opportunities

I have had a great experience with SFI affiliate center and here is why.

I am new to affiliate marketing and thus don’t know much about what strategies go best, how to successfully promote, how to get people not just to buy but also come back etc. I know the technical staff, because i am a programmer so my forte is making adds, banners, pages, articles… But one is nothing without the other.

So when i stumbled upon this particular site, I was drawn in by the fact that you don’t work alone. You have an up line that is there to support you, guide you in any way you need them to. And the further you go up, the more experienced advises you get. And people are really willing to share because your future success is their success, because of course if you become successful they benefit in points and rank because they helped you. On the other hand, there is a down line that you can and should create for you. So you send your knowledge down the line and benefit from all your successors. It’s like a knowledge spreading tree.

Work in a team

For those people, like myself, who don’t have that many friends who are willing to participate or work in a team, there are different ways that you can win, attract, get or buy new team members. And the process is the same. If you develop them and show them the way and they prosper, you prosper with them.

The second thing, the thing that kept me occupied, were all other non selling and promoting activities that you can use while waiting for your product to be sold. So while your product add is out there making clicks and visits, you are having fun playing mini games, quizzes, entering different competitions etc… and also having a chance to earn some more funds for future investment. It is a great way to ease up the stress and tension, because sometimes it can take months for you to actually make a sale.

The knowledge base is also open for all members. Best practices, videos, reading materials, experiences, books, marketing aids… all that you could ever need to help you in your campaign.
Another great perk that i have personally tried, is using something that is called Localvantia. It’s a collection of vendors available all around the world where if you are a costumer you get discounts. So, i found a pastry shop near me and bought a cake for a birthday and when submitted the receipt got a in app reward that i can turn into money or invest. But that is not all, if you know someone who has a business near you and is struggling with promotion and low costumer numbers, you can register them into this system and they get a great number of new potential buyers and you get a percent from every perches someone made there. So again you are earning.

So as you can see from only few benefits that i have stated here, and tried myself, it is a family like organised business that can bring you profits with much less stress than going out there alone. Of course, no one will judge you if you have other affiliating business on the side, so it’s also good to combine with other activities.

Only fools and hourses

I simply love it and enjoy it, and i think so would you. As there are no fees or requirements to invest your own money there is nothing to loose. And by my humble opinion, even if you don’t make any large amounts of money at first, the knowledge you can benefit on is priceless.

A good place to start affiliating

Before you start anything you should gather as much information as you can about what is your goal.
Affiliate marketing is not a trait that is learned overnight and it takes time to understand it and to maximize your profit from it. There are many techniques and strategies, but you have to recognize what are your strengths and where you feel most comfortable.

In my personal experience it is hard starting on your own. I have spent ours and ours posting adds and promotions on free add sites trying to start up from scratch. And it is really depressing when you see no clicks, no visitors, no commissions.

There are a lot of affiliate sites that will be hard to get accepted to, and if you are inexperienced and do get in i think it will overpower you. This is a growing market and the competition is really tough.

If you on the other hand have someone who can guide you or help you, that would be a huge advantage. It’s not everyday that you can meat people willing to share their secrets. I watched 20 or 30 videos where different people were telling me how it is easy, just copy paste, but no one can guaranty anything beside the opportunity. And most of them invest quite a bit of their own money for advertising and promoting.

My best experience came from an unlikely turn of events. By accident i stumbled upon a site SFI affiliate center and I joined just because it was part of a small job I was finishing. I thought it was going to be get in get what you need and get out. But for a month now I can confidently say that I wouldn’t change this community of affiliates for anything.

Every person works in a team. You have your sponsor/mentor who is there for your every question and guidance. That sponsor is in the team of his own and has his own mentor and so on. It’s a tree like structure and the trick is that everyone above you benefits from your success. So it’s in their best interest to help you learn, grow, develop your own team and prosper. It’s a win win situation.

So, to summarize, you need to know this: Affiliate - What, How, Where
What do you want to achieve?
How do you do it?
Where to start?
And once you get your hands on the steering wheel the road is yours. The destination - success. Time that it will take you to get there and benefits along the way are entirely up to you. And the best thing - you can’t loose!

Influencer Cash - BIG FRAUD!!!!

For those of you who haven't read my previous article on this matter (Earn through your social networks), here is a short version with the followup:

  1. I have decided to test one of many sites that are promoting the idea that someone would pay you large amount of money just to bring in some friends and click on some adds etc.
  2. I created an account, and i asked some of my friends to participate to gather the minimum amount of clicks and registrations to be able to withdraw money from their site. I would like to thank all those friends for their support and excuse myself for any inconvenience. To be clear - i haven't used any false accounts, vpn, fingering data or anything like that. These are today's screenshots, one day after i was suppose to receive my scheduled payout.
  3. I waited patiently for over 30 days for the stated date to come and during all those 30 days in my recite was a statement declaring that all verification were done and legit.
  4. As you can see on the second picture, the big day had come and gone. And of course no money. But the reason stated was that suddenly i wasn't eligible to receive payment because of fraud data and that my account will be terminated in the next 7 days. But!!!! If i want to try again the right way they absolutely encourage it!!!! Really??? They encourage someone who they think is trying to fraud them to come and register again and give them another set of emails and flowing data?
  5. And finally, if i am not satisfied i am to contact their Fraud Department. At this point i must just say that there is no email, no contact page or any other contact on the entire website, Facebook page or any other social media. Need I say more?
Conclusion: This and all similar sites are one big fraud, so my advice is to avoid them. Nothing comes overnight and out of thin air. If you have any experience with this or similar sites please do comment so that we can help others not to make our mistakes!

TIP: If you are looking for something real and worth your time try SFI.

Affiliate - What, How, Where

What is an affiliate?

The term affiliate is used to describe the relationship between two entities. It is rather present in many forms in our every day lives, mostly in business, law etc. But the online job that involves affiliating is much more simpler.

Basically you become the man in the middle so to speak. Someone out there has a product that he wants to sell. Someone out there wants to by that product but doesn't know about it yet. Your job is to promote that product and reach every potential online buyer.

And of course, for your standing in the middle you get a commission. In most cases it is 50% of the sail, sometimes more sometimes less. So it can be very profitable if you have patience and know what are you doing.

How do you do it?

If you don't have your own product, like I don't, don't worry. There are a lot of websites that can help you get to the products or services that you can promote further. All there is to it is registration and off you go.

I tried several sites and most of them are open for all countries, but there are always those that require more background check up. I suggest you avoid those until you get the hang of things.

So where to start?

Here are my best two choices for now, that i can recommend for starting up:
1. JVZoo

Affiliate site, easy to register, lots of different products and services you can promote. Most of them, especially those more valuable ones, are hard to get at first. But there are a bundle of products that are affordable and easy to get promoting so start with those and work your way up. There are also some courses, training and lot of other useful tools. When you get a product all you have to do is copy your link to your website, blog or email and you are good to go. Of course, you have to be patient at first but once you get going it will be easy.

2. SFI affiliate centre

This is also an affiliate site but with one difference. Here there is a hierarchy tree and when you start you get assigned to a more experienced affiliate. So you can learn faster and advance more. Also, this website is not just oriented on product promotion. There are a lot of other ways that you can earn commissions and advance in your position. It is a fun and well organized community where you can learn a lot and earn along the way.

Which ever do you use to start, just remember this takes time and a little patience. But the most important thing is that it is not time consuming and overwhelming as some of the other options for earning money online.

Earn through your social networks???

If you are not active online, basically you don't exist.

At least that is what the modern society is saying with the ever so popular online communication.
Facebook, Twitter, Viber, Instagram, Youtube... Different names same objective - connect people.

On the other hand, I suppose you are already drawn into the virtual world. Then, why not take advantage of it and make some money online? Because it is a FRAUD!!!
Recently, I have tried one of many so called easy online earning platforms. This one is called:

InfluencerCash

It is a website that practically gives you money for your connections. How does it work?
For starters you have to register - just a simple name password and email. When you register you will immediately earn 25$ to start you up, at least that is what they say.

After that you have few ways to earn more money:
  • share your referral through social media and for every click you get 2$ and for every person that creates account another 10$
  • you can finish surveys and downloads for 20$ to 30$ but there is a limited list of those
  • for every share through special channels that you are provided with you can earn additional 10$ every 48 ours

So in no more than few days you can earn up to 200$ with no sweat. And that is the minimum amount for withdrawal of funds.

I managed to earn 415$ and asked for payout. Two days after that my account didn't exist anymore, just like the accounts of my referrals. I should mention that the payout was set 30 days from now and of course, it is most likely a scam like everything else.

Another two days later i managed to log in again and i started looking for some contact. On the entire site there is not one email or valid contact. Also i looked on Facebook page and still nothing. Furthermore, there is no option to shut down your account or to cancel it.

My alleged payout is set for 08. of December so i will write a follow up then with more detail, because i also couldn't find any real proof of it being a fraud and decided to check it.

So this is a fair warning to avoid all similar scams like this one, and stay toned.

Start SMALL think BIG

I always thought that working from home is time consuming. I never had the endurance to sit in front of my computer and type or click all day and not get anything in return.

For those of you who are having the same problem here is my latest experience and advise.
START SMALL!

PicoWorkers

The site i am going to introduce to you is rather simple but with no experience at all you can make some money doing the tasks that are as simple as clicking. I must note though that you will not earn hundreds of dollars per click. No!

These are small, fast jobs that you can do in minutes and the value is according.
Per task the price goes from 0.02 $ to approximately 0.8$ depending on task.
The simplest tasks are liking a Facebook page or visiting a website and depending on the number of actions the price is around 0.04$ and these are the most common ones. For creating accounts and downloading some mini games you can earn more per task. So it is all up to you. You choose what you want to do and when you want to do it.

And don't be discouraged by the low prices. Look at it this way. You can finish one task in no more than 2 minutes. In 60 minutes that is 30 tasks. If the average price of the task is 0.04$ you will earn 1.2$ doing something that is interesting and easy. That is 36$ on a monthly basis for doing something that i am sure every single person does on a daily. So why not surf the net and get payed for it?

Once you decide to try, all you have to do is create a free account which is simple as writing your name and email, and get started. And keep in mind this is just a starting point to gets you going in the right direction. There are more sites like this one that you can do simultaneously and boost your profits more and earn larger sums of money for the same amount of time.

But more about that in my next posts.
For now, let's just start clicking!
